things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the
utmost assurance to see the salvation of God and for his arm to be

P-day with the Sisters |
We had
some pretty powerful lessons with one of our investigators, and she even
came to a baptism. It was a beautiful baptism and the Spirit was so
strong. One of my favorite things at baptisms is after the person gets
baptized -to see the happiness that they experience right after and the Spirit that they radiate. As our investigator said, "there is just this
energy that you can feel from her. It's the Holy Ghost."
There
have been many times this week that we have felt guided. Specifically,
we had a lesson with an investigator and had the bishop there for the
lesson. Unfortunately, we went to the door and no one answered and when
we called the same thing happened. After waiting for a few minutes and
than getting into our cars the bishop drove away and right as we were
pulling out I turned to Sister Mildrum and just felt like she was there
and we needed to try again. Sister Mildum called her and she was home!
She had been in the parking garage and so she hadn't heard the buzzer.
We were able to call the bishop, who was just a block ahead and have a
very spiritual lesson. It was was so powerful to me to feel the spirit,
act and than see the results. To do all that we could do and than see
the Lord's hand in HIS work. It was a very special experience for me. I
know that this is
God's work and that he is very aware of each of us
and our situation and will guide us and provide a way when we have done all that we can do. He directs this work just as he
directs this church! I feel so blessed to be here in lovely Lavel, to
help him in his work!
