Hey everyone!
This week was great! This week I have seen
how members can make such a big impact in the lives of investigators.
Without them our investigators wouldn't be progressing like they have
been. We taught one investigator the word of wisdom last week and he accepted it!
He said that he's willing and wanting to change. His friend- whose is a
member has been such a blessing! She is able to understand him and is
behind him 100%. She even fasted for him! Our other family is doing
amazing. They're continuing to learn and to grow, which is great!
This
week I read a great article in the Ensign about a statue of Christ
missing its hands (at home we have two very similar statues
each missing a hand-the same hand is broken off on each statue), but in
the article it talked about how instead
of putting the statue away the owner placed a plaque that said "you are
my hands". This really hit me. We can be Christ's hands. It really
had me thinking how we should always try to be Christ's hands. Whether
it
be preaching the gospel to others on a mission or at home, in
our wards, our job or in our homes. We can all use our hands to do
for others what Christ would do.
I hope that we can all try a
little harder to uplift those around us and treat them as the Savior
would. I wish you all the best week!
Love you all!
Sister Rawlings
